Soma

These photos are taken of the Soma Intimates window displays at College Hills Mall. The windows are very tasteful and classy and draw in the customer Soma targets. The color schemes of each window tie together very well and go along with the holiday theme. The signs create a clear message that the lingerie on the mannequins can be bought as gifts. This point is reiterated with the stacks of gift boxes in each window. I think these windows are perfect and simple and clearly display the message of Soma.

J. Jill

This photo is taken of the J. Jill window display at College Hills Mall. This store only has one large window and one opportunity to make a statement and send a message to their customer. I think they do a perfect job of occupying the space efficiently without overcrowding or making it too busy. There is clearly a winter theme with the focus on the 20% off sale. The window is cozy and inviting and draws you in. The warm sweaters make you want to come inside out of the cold weather to warm up and get comfortable. Walking past, I want to go inside and don't usually shop here, so that is a very successful window to me.

Chico's

These photos were taken of the window displays in College Hills Mall of Chico's. The larger window display is very comparable to the windows at The Loft. If the window did not say Chico's on it, I could honestly confuse it as a window display for The Loft. However, the style of clothing is slightly different and therefore distinguishable from The Loft. I enjoy the simplicity of the larger window, which keeps the primary attention on the clothing. The smaller window has more to it, but is still organized and well presented. The presents represent the holiday season and give the message that the items on display can be purchased as gifts for Christmas. I like both of the windows separately, but I don't think they flow together very well.

Ann Taylor Loft

These photos were taken of the window displays at College Hills Mall of Ann Taylor Loft. The message of these windows clearly portrays a holiday theme. It is the time of year where most customers are shopping for winter clothing or Christmas gifts. The displays are simple and not overdone, which I appreciate because holiday themed windows can be overwhelming and cliche. The consistent white background and floors tie the different windows together and create a nice flow between each one. The Christmas trees and ornaments add some nice pops and draw the eye in along with the sign that clearly states the sale/promotion. Overall this window is very professional, clean, and nicely done. It celebrates the holiday season and shows off the personality of The Loft very well.
