Bath & Body Works

These photos are of the Bath & Body Works window display at Eastland Mall. They are known for always having the but "X" amount and get "Y" amount free. I like the signage they used in these windows to make it obvious which collection was currently part of the deal. There are options given to come in and check out the signature collection, and also other items displayed that make you want to come check out more. The best marketing tool here is the wonderful smell escaping as you walk past! It makes me want to come inside every time!

The Mole Hole

These are the window displays at the Mole Hole at Eastland Mall. This store is known for having loads and loads of product, and their windows show that. They obviously want to show how many gift options there are for Christmas, and it can perk up thoughts or ideas that customers hadn't thought of. It is a lot to look at but I think it's nicely arranged for how much is on display. It makes you think you could easily find a gift for anyone on your list here.

GNC

These are the window displays of GNC at Eastland Mall. Displaying vitamins, proteins, or other supplements is not usually the best way to attract customers to this type of store. Those are things you need to come in and look at rather than see passing by. This display catches the eye and draws you in because of the great deal. The products come after and the employees will sell the customer on what to actually purchase. This is a gray way to sell customers on something new and get them coming back for more!

Finish Line

These window displays are at Finish Line at Eastland Mall. As a shoe obsessed shopper, I am always eyeing the displays at any shoe store. I want to see the latest shoes and frequently changing displays to show that there is new product. The focus of this window is the new Air Max's, some new Jordan's and some clothing to go along with your purchase. It is obvious the Air Max is the latest shoe that Nike has come out with, and the display makes you want to come check it out. The posters show the type of person and their activities and inspire someone else to be the same way.

Rue 21 etc!

These photos are taken of the window displays at Rue 21 etc! at Eastland Mall. You cannot look at this window without noticing the sale and great deals they have going on for denim and sweaters. These are two of the most sought after items this time of year, so it is a perfect way to draw in some bargain hunting customers. These prices are so low that you may think the product will be cheap and not last long. These thoughts are muted by the mannequins and posters. The mannequins make the clothes look of quality and style. They match the fashions of other more expensive stores and still look trendy! This is a perfect way to display less expensive clothing to make it still look high quality. The shopper sees how to wear the outfit and how to accessorize, and is then motivated to buy more because of the sale. This is what every retailer wants to happen during a sale.

Christopher & Banks

These photos are taken of the window displays at Christopher & Banks at Eastland Mall. The first thing I noticed was the large sign advertising the sweater and vest sale for $19.99. This is obviously a great deal to draw the customer in, then the eyes scan the mannequins and see all the great sweaters and vests they offer. This is a perfect way to showcase a sale. The customer first sees a great deal, then sees the actual product they will get and how it can be worn. Too often there are windows that advertise a sale, but show product that is not on sale. This bait and switch can make the customer feel deceived and let down. I appreciate this honest window that tells the customer truly what they're benefitting from shopping here.

Aeropostale

These photos show the window displays for Aeropostale at Eastland Mall. This is my favorite display I have ever seen there. It is eye catching and the mannequins are very well done. I do not usually shop here, nor do I really like the clothing; but these windows actually made me want to go in. The mannequins go perfectly together, they are trendy, and they show looks that most girls are looking for right now. They are on point with the holiday/winter theme without doing the typical tree and ornament displays. The signs telling about the 50% off sale are obvious and noticeable without taking away from the overall window display. Very well done!!!
